It is more the location then the outfit itself, actualy, it is everything together. The way the blue in the graffiti matches the blue in the sky. The fact that, just by chance, the colours I wore go with the colours that some guy draw in there. Some how it sounds magic. I know, not the best pictures, but belive me, the conditions were hard!
A simple look for a saturday. The sky was clear and the sun could warm you up a little. I love this place, you can see all the way down to the river. A little leopard in the city grrrr
I tend to switch between "browns" and "blacks"; I think it is starting to show on my blog... I had this poncho for ages (really ages!), but it was only to use while watching TV or in front of a fire because it is so warm. Now I found this way of reusing it and I'm very happy with the result! So: reuse, reuse, reuse!
I'm sure it happens to you too, when you become addicted to certain pieces of clothes or shoes. You just want to buy another pair in case those start falling apart. That happens to me with this boots, and these trousers, and these rings, well, and the nail polish, and the sweater. Hummm... I see a problem here.
I love the colors on this scarf. It reminds me of falling leaves, different colors in the trees and those days when it is not quite chilling, but you can already feel the breeze. I found this scarf on sales; it was really cheap. When something like this happens it tend to think that there is something wrong with the piece and I'm the only one that doesn't see it. But I took my chance and have been wearing it allot since then. 5 points for me!
I know, I'am aware that eyeliner and fake eyelashes won't get me even near what Brigitte Bardot represented in the 50's, but I like the feeling. What I don't like is how distressed I got to do a symmetric line in both eyes, and how difficult it was to place the eye lashes. And on top of that, I had to hear my Mom tell me how easily she was able to do it in those times, even inside a driving car!
I am an engineer, hum, nothing to do with style, fashion, clothes, or what ever you want to call it. But I'm starting a blog about it any way! And I can't wait to see what will happen. My main motivation to start this blog is the need to channel and share somehow and someway all these "pumping" ideas. I deffinetly can not do it in my profession, which I love, but has NOTHING to do with fashion or style. Well, actually you can decide if you want a lab coat with or without collar, but you can not run away from the pure white, even in the winter, when it makes you look like a squill with a test tube in your hand. Here, I want to post basically everything that pops in my mind, with a huge amount of "ego blogging"; just learnt this today in Andy, from Style Scrapbook, TED talk. I am myself a big blogs fan, so I hope you enjoy this new blog, because I'm sure I'm going to love doing!
